Court of Appeal upholds decision allowing forfeiture of ex-Terengganu assemblyman's wife's car

PUTRAJAYA, July 15 — The Court of Appeal has upheld the High Court's decision allowing the prosecution's application to forfeit a Proton X70 car worth RM115,000 belonging to Aida Tengah, the wife of former Terengganu state assemblyman Datuk Tengku Hassan Tengku Omar.

MACC seeks to forfeit over RM169 mln in cash belonging to Ismail Sabri

KUALA LUMPUR, July 7 — The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has filed an application to forfeit over RM169 million in cash belonging to former prime minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

RM5.1 bln in assets forfeited, returned to Malaysia, 99.57 pct linked to 1MDB

PUTRAJAYA, June 14 — The total assets forfeited and returned to the Malaysian government last year were worth about RM5.1 billion, with 99.57 per cent of it linked to 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB), said Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) chief commissioner Tan Sri Azam Baki.
